Psychotherapy is both an art and a science. In addition to cognitive, logical, rational skills, the psychotherapist needs to develop his/her creative and non-conformist skills in order to use both the left and right brain hemispheres when working with the client on a verbal and non-verbal level. For this reason we believe that art education of psychotherapists is of paramount importance in professional development.
Our amateur theatre company presenta three or four plays every year, and we organize movie nights and various art and creativity courses.
The art education department is headed by Oana Maria Popescu, in collaboration with Silviu Andrei Gusat, Flavius Furtuna and Sergiu Milos.
